Does Contacts replace my accounting system?
- No. Contacts helps your team manage daily financial activities related to each contact. Your accounting system remains the main source for accounting entries and financial reports.
Can I transfer money to any bank account?
- The bank account must have the appropriate status. Transfers also depend on your permissions and the services enabled for your company.
Does submitting a transfer mean it is complete?
- No. Submitting a transfer means the transfer request has been submitted. It may appear as Pending while waiting for its final result. You can track its status from the transaction history.
Is a new transaction created whenever the status changes?
- No. The original transaction record is updated when the transfer status changes.
Can I view incoming and outgoing transactions?
- Yes. You can view Pay In and Pay Out transactions from the Transactions section in the Contact Details page. You can also view transactions associated with a specific bank account from its details.
Why can’t I edit a contact or make a transfer?
- This may depend on your user permissions, the bank account’s status, or the services enabled for your company.
Can a contact have more than one bank account?
- Yes. You can add multiple bank accounts to a contact and manage each account separately.
